"G-Man"

IPO3, AD

About G-Man

Since he was a puppy, G-Man has shown extreme drive and power as well as excellent temperament at home and around town. G-Man was a 2017 USA Team member to the WUSV in Tilberg Netherlands, placed 3rd at the 2016 USCA German Shepherd IPO National Championships, and 8th at the 2017 Nationals. He is the embodiment of the all-around working dog we strive to train and promote.
G-Man was bred by Detlef Kresin in Germany and imported from Jan Kokx at nine months with the help of Thomas Martin. He is selectively available at stud to working females.

"Alva"

In Training

About Alva

Alva is our Belgian Malinois currently training in IPO and APA (American Politiehond Association – USA’s version of KNPV). He has outstanding potential and will progress quickly with more training time as G-Man nears retirement.
Alva was bred by Evija Mankopa in Latvia out of her outstanding female – Daneskjold X-Tra Fast (Li). Li and Evija have competed at the FMBB and FCI, placing 4th at the 2015 FCI. Alva’s sire is Karina Annesen’s Independent Spirit’s I’Ro from Denmark. They have represented Denmark at many national and international competitions including the FMBB and FCI, recently taking 8th place at the 2017 FCI in Rheine Germany.
Check back for updates on Alva’s progress. We look forward to getting on the field with him in late 2018.

Retired Dogs

Dina vom Leerburg (Elke)

Schutzhund 3

Elke was our first GSD, our start in Schutzhund, and a great family dog. An immensely talented Chucho vom Schloss Guttenberg daughter, she had enough talent to place high-in-trial at local, regional and national events, all with a handler learning his craft. She was high in trail at the 1998 AWDF..

Yugo vom Fuchsstein

Schutzhund 3

We were fortunate to obtain Yugo from Al Bartelson with excellent foundation training. To this day, Yugo is the strongest protection GSD we’ve known. In his first three trials, he scored SchH1 (99), SchH2 (99) and SchH3 (98) in protection, and later 100 points as a SchH3. He also competed in the 2003 USA National Championships.

Kimbo vom Geistwasser

IPO 3

We took over training Kimbo as an untitled two-year-old dog. After a year of foundation work, he earned all his IPO titles the following summer with scores of IPO1 (286), IPO2 (285), and IPO3 (277), which included High-In-Trial, High Tracking, and High Obedience at the 2011 USCA North Central Regional. Kimbo was later placed as an estate protection dog.
